The Creative Collaborations autumn creative industries conference season is aimed at artists, businesses, public sector and cultural organisations. This season is hosted in association with the Digital Arts Forum and the creative writers group '26'.

Intellectual Property: Copyright and 'copyleft' in the creative industries

The conference aims to explore issues such as;
* How might copyright law impact upon my creativity and business?
* How can copyrighted material be used within my work?
* What do I need to do to ensure the copyright of my work?
* What alternative ‘copyleft’ solutions exist to enable the collaborative development of creative work?

The day’s programme will:
* Review existing copyright legislation with particular relevance to the creative industries
* Provide access to legal expertise to address specific legal issues relevant to creative businesses
* Highlight the growing 'copyleft' movement (led by international organisation Creative Commons) that looks to re-address the sometimes restrictive use of copyright legislation and develop alternative legal frameworks for creative collaborations

* Robert Grose - Artist and Media Lawyer, lecturer at Royal College of Art and lawyer for The Guardian and Observer.

Intervention and Integration: Artists re-authoring the city

NEW Creative Collaborations short course 11
21 September, 28 September, 5 October & 12 October, 3-6pm
Broadway Cinema, Nottingham.

Presenters include the architect Julian Marsh, artists John Newling and Rafael Lozano-Hemmer and lecturer Emma Cocker.

In association with Sideshow, created in response to The British Art Show 6 which takes place in Nottingham in April 2006, Creative Collaborations presents a short course for artists and curators wishing to explore alternative and innovative ways to deliver their practice. The course will be held in the lead up period to the submission deadline for Sideshow and is designed to stimulate thinking about curation and creative production in new spaces across the city and surrounding region.

The course will consist of four 3-hour sessions covering;
* The Introduction to the city as a site
* Projection, technology and curation
* Social Intervention
* A brainstorming session with direct relevance to projects and proposals that will be developed over this period.

The course will be free to employees and self-employed practitioners in the Nottingham area. (Subject to postcode checks)

Mainframe @ Architecture Week

Mainframe is Jonathan Willets' new show at the 1851 Gallery, Waverley Street, Nottingham Trent University. The exhibition has grown out of Willets' AHRC sponsored PhD, which explores how emotion is constructed through science and art.

Willets describes Mainframe as an 'inn of information' or an 'art machine'. The focus of the exhibition is a model of ‘the Mainframe’ which transforms viewers into active participants by projecting their interactions using the beamer.

With Mainframe, Willets has combined semiotics and computational aesthetics to create a space to reflect on the notion of acceleration in 'a culture that never stands still'. The Exhibition is sponsored by the Arts Council, Habitat, Future Factory, the Bonnington Gallery and Nottingham Trent University

NEW SITES/NEW SIGHTS

Repeating the successful 2004 Course, this is your opportunity to become familiar with the new public display technology in the Nottingham region.
This short series of meetings is for creative practitioners who need to think through the implications of how new technology will affect their business and creative practice. It is a chance to try producing a public display of your own.
The course explores the cultural and technical background to recent display technology and enables you to gain hands-on experience of working with large scale projectors, surround sound systems and web streaming.
For a mixed group of practitioners from areas like marketing, performing arts, event management, web and interactive design, video production, installation and architecture.
We invite employees and individual freelance practitioners to apply for a limited number of places still left on the course.

Email Creativecollaborations@ntu.ac.uk with `Sites` in the subject area and we will send you more details.
The course is supported by the European Social Fund, EMDA and CINTIN and will be Free of Charge to employees and practitioners in specific (objective 2) areas of Nottingham.

NDC Question Time Event 24 March 2005

Hi all, this is an announcement for the New Deals for Communities event on
the 24th March 2005. This will take the form of a "Question Time" where a
panel consisting of NDC Board of Directors and CEO, who will be open to
questions by the general public (limited number of tickets available for
this event).

This event is to be filmed by a production company and a number of art-
related workshops (no limit to the number of people) will be taking place
alongside the Question Time production.

I have been asked to take part as a Roving Camera to film the art related
events and to document the evening using this method of camera work. It
should be an interesting evening for all concerned !!

Creative Apprenticeships with Creative partnerships

Starting in January 2005, Creative Partnerships in Nottingham will be taking on creative apprentices and mentors. Apprentices will be required to commit one day a week for the duration of a 15 week course and will be matched to a mentor who is an experienced creative practitioner. Apprentices will receive £500 to support their apprenticeship, and training will include:
finding out how schools work
exploring the impact of artists in schools
the business aspects of being a freelance creative practitioner
working in schools with a mentor
Mentors will be required to commit to the equivalent of five days over the 15 week period, for which a flat fee of £750 will be paid. The programme will run between January and June 2005.
CP Nottingham are looking for a maximum of 10 creative apprentices and 10 creative mentors. If you know of anyone who would be interested in applying for either of these opportunities, then please pass them the attached application form (which should be returned to Joanna Dalton joanne.dalton@creative-partnerships.com) by 26 November. Beamer in Wales for the Torfaen Big Vision

Last night and for the next three nights a Beamer is in Torfaen in south Wales where Nottingham artist Faye Chamberlain is projecting images she has created as part of the 'Torfaen Big Vision' onto the BLAENAVON IRONWORKS and Cwmbran CIVIC CENTRE.

The Big Vision is part of Torfaen's unique approach to Community Strategy Consultation.
They are trying to create visual impressions, especially through working with young people, to create a sense of what they expect Torfaen might look like in the future. Images may be positive and aspirational, alternatively they may be negative and controversial. These images will inform how future services are planned to avoid a negative future and promote a positive one.

Beamer tryout session at Cwmbran Civic Centre

I accompanied the Beamer down to Cwmbran in south Wales for a tryout session.

With the normal lens fitted and projecting across a main road it filled the front of the Civic Centre entrance (see image above). We also tried it out on an old stone walled building (see image below) it worked well but due to a flag pole and a tree viewing was restricted.

Beamer in U G C Cinema for the NOW! Festival

As part of the NOW! Festival a Beamer was used in Cinema One at the U G C Cinema (The Cornerhouse) on Forman Street for the screening of "The Wordz Out".

"The Wordz Out" is a short film looking at what it means to be young and black in Nottingham. see http://www.beherenow.org.uk/index.php/news/index for more details of the film and information on other events in the NOW! Festival.

Beamer installed into the projection room of cinema one

The screen on cinema one is 8.53 meters (28 foot) wide and 15.54 meters (51 feet) from the projection room. The projectionist suggested that I could leave the Beamer with him after we had finished.

The beamer doing what it does best

I was able with the Beamer remote control to stand next to the screen (15.54 meters (51 feet)from the Beamer) and critically focus the image, something the projectionist said he would love to be able to do.

The Beamer has a range of lenses for different lens to screen/picture width applications I was using the middle throw lens set to maximum telephoto; as I found that using the wide setting of this lens the image covered the screen and part of both of the side walls.

In the same way the horse was replaced by the car this type of digial projection (no 35mm film required) will eventualy become the norm in cinemas.

On the 30th of September at the Harts hotel in Nottingham, as part of the "YouAreHere" festival, a first showing of the eagerly awaited (and much worked on) "Nottingham Artists Studios Tour" presentation took place.

Fifty invited guests watched a forty minute visual extravaganza of over six hundred art pieces, created by twenty nine Nottingham artists, displayed inside the hotel on a six foot wide back projection screen using an NTI beamer and later outside the hotel, even larger, on the reception wall.

This was the first outing for the rugged wireless laptop and the seven foot high Da-lite projector stand and all performed well.

This single event used new technology supplied by CINTIN, two NTI Beamers, the rugged laptop, the back projection screen and the Da-lite projector stand all provided by Creative collaborations.

For those of you who were not on the guest list at Hart's the presentation will have its public premier on the 9th November at Broadway, watch for announcements.

CREATION CONTEST 2005 The BBI is looking for innovative, relevant, audacious, surprising and committed projects. - Any form, method or means are admitted. - Each winning project chosen by the jury shall be helped out by the BBI up to the sum of CHF 10¹000.- (6¹000 Euros), at the very most. Participants are free to take any steps they deem necessary to acquire additional funding from public authorities or firms so as to complete their budgets. - The winning projects are produced by the BBI and labelled as such. - The awarded projects shall be supported by the BBI (organization, distribution, promotion) and presented in the programming of the festival. Rules : 1. The contest is open to all. 2. Each project is to be presented on 2 A4-format pages, at most. The presentation text describes the concept, goals and the means required for realization as well as the space and time needed. A detailed budget shall be included. Plans, drawings, photos, videos, recordings... are recommended. 3. Projects must be sent by January 17th, 2005, at the latest (postal stamp is proof) at Belluard Bollwerk International, Contest 2005, PO Box 214, CH - 1701 Fribourg. 4. The projects are evaluated by the BBI¹s jury according to subjective criteria. No mail will be exchanged. 5. All participants shall be made aware of the results by February 18th, 2005. 6. A short course developed for creative industries practitioners.
To think through the implications of the new spaces of presentation opened up by recent technologies for business and creative practice. (Areas like site based large screen projection, surround sound, web casting and wireless communication) For a mixed group of experienced practitioners from the areas like marketing, performing arts, event management, web and interactive design, video production, game based learning, installation and architecture.

The Course Structure
The course will be in two parts. Two 3 hour sessions at Broadway Cinema to introduce and explore background . A second set of 3 hour sessions one month later to reflect on practice. Between the 2 sessions there will be opportunities to carry out company based research and development looking at the new CINTIN technologies which the NTI has brought into the region.

Reflection on the new practice necessary to re-position working processes in relation to creative technology.

Apparently excellent projections were enjoyed by the regular 200 ish crowd that nowattends the Enjoy the Ride events every month at the Malt Cross. The CINTIN is pleased to be able to pump prime such events with technology and display the creative production work of the region. Rumours are that Pete Bradley plans to take Enjoy the Ride onto the Internet via the NTI STREAMER.
The CAST FORUM last Wednesday was a similar event with the premiere of a terrific live VJ set from AV/DV on the architecture of the Playhouse. Stills to follow from Casciani Evans Wood who organised it with support from Arts&Business.

I am currently working with a Nottingham band called GRAIN on a music videoproject - they have a unique style and in my opinion stand way above themajority of Nottingham based bands in terms of style and ideas. There arevery limited funds available for this project but the idea would be to comeup with a simple and effective video to promote the band and be shown inplaces such as Broadway Cinema's Electric Lounge and Enjoy the Ride at theMalt Cross in Nottingham. EM Media has teamed up with Brief Encounters Short Film Festival and the BBC to offer filmmakers, writers, directors and producers based in the East Midlands the chance to take part in:
mini masterpieces

You and your filmmaking team get three days to prep, film and edit your three minute film. Filming will take place in a one-mile radius of the Watershed Media Centre in Bristol, an area of fashionable bars, historic warehouses, Georgian squares, the modern Millennium square, churches and dramatic architecture.

The winning films will be shown at the Brief Encounters Short Film Festival Awards Ceremony on Saturday 20 November and also screened on BBC Three.

Winning entrants will receive:
Script mentoring from BBC Fiction Lab
Specialist advice from an industry professional
Five nights accommodation during the festival

Mini Masterpieces 2003 entrant

Eligibility:
To be able to take part in Mini Masterpieces you should not be in full-time education and have six months experience of working within the film industry. Your experience can come from professional or amateur filmmaking and the scheme is open to writers, directors or producers.

CIPHER/HUBBACK PROJECT - Digital Visual artist required

We aim to develop a new cross genre collaboration incorporating composed and spontaneous music and visuals interacting in a live environment. The three core musicians involved in the project are Steve Hubback, Theo Travis and myself Dave Sturt - see below for biogs.

We intend to apply for funding to develop ideas/concepts, develop the use of technology to allow interaction/improvisation of both music and visuals and to make a work for one or two performances initially and eventually to tour.

We require a digital visual artist who:

has experience with cutting edge video, VJ, computer and film/images technology
is used to working in a live environment mixing visuals with music
has a strong vision and visual style
works well as part of a team
is, ideally, based in, or has connections with the East Midlands

Biogs:

Dave Sturt (Bass, sound design, programming) - A member of the original ambient group Jade Warrior, Dave has written and played on their last two CDs. Dave was a founding member of the Derby based Celtic band Thee na Shee who had much success in the Celtic/folk world and he produced both of their studio albums. He has a strong reputation as a bassist, producer and studio engineer and currently runs the HND in music performance at Broxtowe College, Nottingham where he is also head of bass and music technology studies. He was responsible for Cipher receiving a commission from Derby Metro Cinema to write new music for the classic 1926 Hitchcock silent film The Lodger and recently secured Arts Council funding for a UK tour with Murnau's The Last Laugh. He has also worked with Isaac Guillory, Michael Kamen, Dave Gilmour and Andy Sheppard and composed themes and incidental music for film and television. Musician magazine described Dave as a "remarkable bass player".

Theo Travis (Soprano sax, alto flute) has released six acclaimed solo albums on 33 Records for which he composed, arranged, produced all the material and played on saxophones and flute. He has performed many times at London's legendary Ronnie Scott's club, tours the UK regularly with his jazz quartet, and has performed at festivals throughout the world including Norway, Finland, Japan, France, Israel and the USA. He has also written music for theatre. Awarded a degree in music with Honours from Manchester University, he also has experience in music education. He has also collaborated with an eclectic range of musicians including John Etheridge, Tony Coe, Gong, John Marshall, Palle Mikkelborg, Mick Karn, Porcupine Tree, Lol Coxhill and Anja Garbarek. MOJO magazine referred to him as "a brave and restless talent to watch for".

Steve Hubback (Percussion, Sculptor, and Blacksmith) Steve is originally from South Wales and is now resident in Reykjavik, Iceland. He designs and makes his own percussion instruments, forging them from raw metals in a foundry. He also makes gongs, harps and instrument sculptures. His instruments are played primarily by him but have also been commissioned by some of the worlds leading percussionists, musicians and composers including Evelyn Glennie, Paolo Vinaccia, Paal Nilsen Love, Marilyn Mazur, Joe Lovano and The Welsh National Opera. Having studied Gong making in the far east, and blacksmithing all over the world, his instruments are and have been exhibited in several countries. Steve Hubback has moved away from conventional drumming techniques and has developed something very different and original. He has toured extensively all over Europe with Its My Head (featuring Jorgen Cremonese), Alan Wilkinson, Tony Moore, Frode Gjerstad, David Moss, and Stjerneld with Tin Josefsdotter, He has collaborated in Denmark with Robyn Lubaekker and worked on large scale projects there including sea sculptures on Kolding fjord with Harald me Viuff and the Hydronorts. He toured in South Korea with Lim Dong Chang. Hubback has over 20 recordings available on different European and American labels.

Get refreshed at the bathysphere lo_tempo hi_fi arena

Helping to kick off this year’s Summer Sundae Festival on 13th August comes a
very refreshing treat from Leicester’s own Bathysphere Digital Arts in the
multiple media form of their 'lo_tempo hi_fi arena'. Serving delicious tunes
and luscious visuals, the marquee in the grounds of De Montfort Hall provides
the perfect place to sit back, relax and make the most of a gentle summers
evening.

Live music comes from internationally acclaimed headliners ISAN. They are
supported by Chin Chin and Normal Position who are both signed to
Bathysphere’s Deep-Water record label and Leicester based collective Auxilec’s
Steve Morgan and Preston.

Following a tour of Japan earlier this year, ISAN wowed audiences at the Big
Chill Festival at the end of July with the set subsequently featuring as a
highlight on BBC Radio 1’s John Peel show. With numerous releases under their
belt, ISAN are currently taking their beautifully melodic, beaty, electonica
on an international tour, with this being on of the few UK dates.

Complimenting this, audiences will get a full sets from the wistful, intricate
downbeat Chin Chin whose acoustic, folk-tinged electronica will mellow and
enchant. In contrast the massively clever, bouncing beats, pops and squiggles
of Normal Position will have you squirming with glee, while Auxilec’s Steve
Morgan and Preston begin the night with their post processed, glitch techno, a
happy, happening blend of live electronics and laptops.

All this is wrapped up in package of stimulating visuals throughout the arena
and onto the big white ‘screen’ that is the outside walls of De Montfort Hall
itself. Pre-recorded as well as filmed and mixed live on the night, the visual
feast is created by highly experienced Bathysphere Digital Arts and
Cuttlefish.com.

The lo_tempo hi_fi arena take place on Friday 13th August, unlucky for some,
but most certainly lucky for Leicester, from 6pm. Tickets for the Friday night

Nottingham based artist Sean Cummins is showing his latest piece of video work "CLEAVE" at the Economist Building (Open daily at 10.00 - 20.00hrs at 25 St. James’s Street London SW1) from tomorrow until 19th September 2004.Here is what he says about it " For this exhibition at the Economist Building Sean Cummins has made a short film based on two journeys through the structure of the building. In the film, Cummins uses a genre contemporary with the building (1964) to invoke the paradox of physical immersion in architecture through film. Recent architecture echoes the sets of some influential science fiction films. Using a building such as this as the backdrop for a film closes the loop. The artist re-uses the way in which buildings are represented in important films as a counterpoint to this structure." Pop and see it if you are down London way.

Creative Collaborations Course participants Casciani Evans Wood have launched an exciting new initiative at the Cast restaurant next to Nottingham Playhouse (the old playhouse bar) Pop along on Wednesday. This is what they say about it.
***Nottingham based design consultancy Casciani Evans Wood is launching the
first in a series of events celebrating new film and digital art. Called
Cast Forum, it seeks to champion the growing community of creative people
working with digital media, video and new technology in the East Midlands
region.

The series kicks off on Wednesday 28th July 2004, at Cast, the new
restaurant and bar at Nottingham Playhouse. Heading up the evening is the
premiere of ‘Formotion’, a specially commissioned video artwork that looks
at architecture and the structure of the city. The piece has been created by
Leicester based artist and filmmaker Matthew Pell. Also showing on the night
will be ‘Untitled’, a short film by Nottingham artist James Allen, which
observes the city and its behaviour. The guest speaker at the event is Mark
Dey, director of NOW, Nottingham’s annual arts festival.

The films have been commissioned by Casciani Evans Wood as part of the Arts
and Business New Partners scheme. This scheme brings together business and
the arts to foster new, mutually beneficial creative partnerships.

Further events will follow throughout September, featuring work from Moon
Radio, Paul Masters, Harriet O. Wills & Eunhee Choi, and av_dv. We’ll keep

From the people who bought you the NTI BEAMER, we now have a new tranch of high level equipment arriving in the East Midlands for creative industries companies, practitioners and educators to loan for research, development and promotion of their work.
The equipment has been bought after extensive consultation with creative industries companies and concentrates on display and networking. The first piece is a high powered 5.1 surround sound amp and speaker system to supplement the high powered NTI BEAMER.(maybe its the NTI SCREAMER???) see below.
It is designed to encourage regional companies to experiment with the production of 5.1 Surround Sound production (and its variations)and enables the work to be showcased in the best possible circumstances, indoors or out. If you are already working with 5.1 then get in touch to see about trying it out.We hope to do a showcase presentation early in Autumn with as much new work from the region as we can find -not just DVD's but soundpieces, games and installations or whatever you are working on.

NEW SITES/NEW SIGHTS

A short course for creative industries practitioners concerned with thinking through the implications of the new spaces of presentation opened up by recent technologies for business and creative practice. Site based large screen projection, surround sound, webcasting and wireless communication. We are looking for a mixed group of experienced practitioners from the areas like marketing, performing arts, event management, web and interactive design, video production, installation and architecture.
The course will be in two parts. Two 3 hour sessions at the end of September to introduce and explore background . A second set of 3 hour sessions in early December to reflect on practice. Between the 2 sessions there will be opportunities to carry out you’re your own company based research and development with the new CINTIN technologies which the NTI has brought into the region.
Companies are invited to nominate employees and individual freelance practitioners who may wish to apply for place on the scheme. The course is supported by the European Social Fund, EMDA and CINTIN and will be Free of Charge to employees and practitioners in specific areas of the Nottingham .

Good news about student success this year at Trent School of Art and design. We are trying to arrange to project the work in the Broadway cafe/Bar -look out for it.

• Jon O'Neil won The Business Design Centre New Designer of the Year 2004
Prize: £2000 (plus PR, legal advice and accountancy support for a year)

• Wayne Mills won The Business Design Centre New Designer of the Year 2004 runner-up 2004: Prize: £500 (he has also been offered an exhibition of his work at DKNY on Bond Street)

• Sophie Henson won The Hallmark Award for Original Talent 2004:
Prize: £2000 (Sophie has also been offered a job with Hallmark)

In this intensive workshop the relationship between storytelling, visual
media techniques and interactivity
will be explored in depth, participants will learn to apply
their knowledge of filmmaking in this new arena by developing their own
interactive ideas, which are then processed in a group scripting phase.
Participants will develop in teams short treatments for an interactive film,
story, or narrative game (no limitation on genre, target audience or
platform) which is then discussed.

The training is aiming in the first place at professionals coming from MEDIA
member countries.

Just had stuff through about interesting series of School of Sound Seminars led by Larry Sider from the National Film and TV school to be held in Bristol during the Brief Encounters Fest 18-19 November 2004. The places cost £150 each but I am sure some of you could maybe apply for a bursury from a regional agency.Places are limited and I don't think its up on their website yet so email info@brief-encounters.org.uk for application forms. I spotted an advert in AI (artists newsletter). they are advertising Payback which is about claiming for secondary reproduction of past work. Here is a little info.
so if you have ever had anything published or broadcast it may be worth filling in the form and seeing if you get the cash!

About Payback
Payback is the service from DACS which pays artists, photographers, illustrators and all other visual creators (and their heirs and beneficiaries) a share of collective licensing revenue for secondary uses of their artistic works. Payback is available to DACS members, and all other visual creators. If you represent creators as an agent or picture library, you may be able to claim on their behalf.
Secondary uses include photocopying an existing reproduction of a work in a book or magazine, or making a video of a television broadcast in which artistic works appear, for use as an educational resource in a school, college or university.
To apply for a share of Payback, visual creators (or their agents) fill in a simple claim form, telling us about the uses of their works in publications and on television.

Chris Cooke film into distribution

Director Chris Cooke, who came to speak to the Creative Collaborations Course 2 about networking and distribution, has seen his feature film, `One For The Road` go into national distribution this week. With some really good reviews in the national press, you can catch the film at Broadway this week and he is doing a Q&A session at UGC cinema tomorrow (Tuesday night).

Mixed Reality Performance and Wireless Gaming Workshop
Advanced interdisciplinary training for artists and scientists
Tuesday 31 AugustFriday 3 September

Blast Theory, in collaboration with the Mixed Reality Lab, is offering a unique training opportunity in mixed reality performance and wireless gaming. Using Can You See Me Now? as a case study, participants will engage with code (Java, C++, Assembler), hardware (PDAs, GPS, GPRS) and with other off the shelf software (Shockwave, 3D modelling, Dreamweaver, networking, databases). Scientists will be trained to engage with artistic practices (performing, public presentation, user interfaces).

As well as providing new skills and an insight into mixed reality performance work, the workshop will build a team capable of touring Can You See Me Now? and participants may subsequently be offered freelance work. The eight places are subsidised by Grants for the Arts, Arts Council England, London and bursaries are available of £300 to cover travel and daily expenses. Accommodation is provided.

Deadline for applications: Friday 23 July.

Can You See Me Now? is a collaboration between Blast Theory and the Mixed Reality Lab, University of Nottingham. It was commissioned by Shooting Live Artists in 2001 and has been presented in Sheffield at the b.tv festival, the Dutch Electronic Arts Festival in Rotterdam and the Edith Russ Site for Media Art in Oldenburg.

It won the 2003 Prix Ars Electronica Golden Nica for Interactive Arts and was nominated for an Interactive Arts BAFTA in 2002.

This is your opportunity to send in your artwork & short films to showcase
during this period.

Our apologies for the short notice - we have only just had conformation of
the screen coming so the deadline for submission is nearly upon us -
Tuesday
6th July - so please get your entries in to us as soon as possible.

We are looking for:
high quality, exciting art work / arts based projects created in Nottingham
( e.g. visual art, crafts, film, literature, music, dance, performing arts,
theatre projects)
features that showcase arts & events in Nottingham

Requirements / Acceptable formats:
short films up to 10 minutes in length
PowerPoint presentations of stills / moving images - PowerPoint should use
full screen or ticker version on bottom of page
Any wording should be ARIEL font size 60 minimum
Images need to be Jpeg size 600x800
CD ROM
DVD
Sound available (no special requirements)

Other:
You can put your logo on the presentation (must fit requirements above)
Work submitted should not be purely advertising - must be showcasing
original artwork/performance
Work must be suitable for public showing & must be family friendly
Work must not include any offensive language or references

Copyright of work shown will be retained by the artist / group / venue

We've just heard about the creative industry awards put together by Nottingham Business Venture.They write "AT Nottinghamshire Business Venture we have a Spirit of Enterprise Awards 2004 event happening with the big presentation evening on 29 September. These awards are designed for the creative Industries and supported and influenced by Sir Paul Smith"

We are currently putting together a guide to using the NTI BEAMER and the projection stand. Anyone wishing to use it should be aware that they will need some practice and training and, if possible, to do a trial run at their chosen venue before they publicly project.Companies are starting to develop some experience in this area and it would make sense to employ someone with experience to assist you the first time you use it.Anyone wishing to use the Beamer should get in touch well in advance to develop that experience.
