NEW SITES/NEW SIGHTS


Repeating the successful 2004 Course, this is your opportunity to become familiar with the new public display technology in the Nottingham region.
This short series of meetings is for creative practitioners who need to think through the implications of how new technology will affect their business and creative practice. It is a chance to try producing a public display of your own.
The course explores the cultural and technical background to recent display technology and enables you to gain hands-on experience of working with large scale projectors, surround sound systems and web streaming.
For a mixed group of practitioners from areas like marketing, performing arts, event management, web and interactive design, video production, installation and architecture.
We invite employees and individual freelance practitioners to apply for a limited number of places still left on the course.

The course is supported by the European Social Fund, EMDA and CINTIN and will be Free of Charge to employees and practitioners in specific (objective 2) areas of Nottingham.

The course consists of four Monday afternoons and an optional open development period.

Creative Collaborations is a partnership between Nottingham Trent University School of Art and Design and the Broadway Media Centre, delivering high level training to the creative industries.
